Read our clients’ comments who are recovering addicts and recovering alcoholics, they received skills to overcome addiction from CADA available programs. They sought treatment and help from drug abuse counselors and alcohol abuse counselors in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Northampton, Lehigh Valley, PA area.
I would like to take this time and opportunity to thank you for having these programs. Some of the people want these and some don’t. I, myself am grateful to be a part of the program. I hope that I did help some of the groups about recovery. Even though I came here voluntarily, I still will take the knowledge that I received from our fellow addicts. Remember, it doesn’t matter what type of addiction each person has, we will always listen and help one another. The addiction that we are suffering needs to be addressed to the young ones. They are the future, let’s give and show them, talk to them, about how serious these additions are. If the CADA program ever needs someone to come back, I will gladly come back. There is a bus that can go to and fro. The only one that will stop me is Mother Nature. Also, I will call weekly to update my progress towards a brighter path in life. If anyone needs to call, feel free. Make that phone call instead of using. It might just save your life and someone else important to you in life. Again thank you and I will return to share when needed.
CADA was there for me when I needed them. They were my family. I will never forget what they did for me. CADA helped make me the person I am today. I am grateful for all their help. It is an honor to be asked for an endorsement.
I am writing this letter because I would like to thank CADA for being an asset in my life. The reason I say this is because prior to attending CADA my life was very unmanageable, and all I thought about all day was using drugs and what I had to do to get the next one. I can remember the desperation of sitting in my basement feeling hopeless. Once I went into treatment and was sent to CADA and given a counselor, of which I am so grateful for, he helped me to get in touch with the reasons I like to say I was using drugs. He helped me to see that there is a better way of life and that I never have to use drugs again. Also, what stood out the most is that I have a choice today and before making that choice to play the tape back to remember where I was and to where I am at today. I am so much happier and I have a sense of freedom. Being clean doesn’t mean that I’m not going to have to face life challenges. I can face them without using any drugs to deal with the feelings. Thank you CADA for giving me a second chance on life and my road to recovery.
When I chose CADA for counseling services I had no idea what to expect. I had all kinds of ideas of what it would be like. I was totally wrong. The staff at CADA made me feel welcomed the minute I walked through the door. I was impressed by the way they treated me with respect and understanding. Not once did they make me feel uncomfortable or humiliated. They truly listened to what I had to say. Gave me advice and helped me to understand the root of my problem and most importantly educated me and gave me skills to work on myself to overcome my addiction. They educated me on the damaging effects of alcohol, mentally, physically and financially. They helped me to understand that I had the power to overcome and to get my life back on the right track. I am eternally grateful to the wonderful staff at CADA. I now apply what they taught me to my everyday life. I advise anyone needing counseling to choose CADA. It will be an eye opening and life changing experience. If you truly want to change your life these people will show you how to do it.
